Located in a scenic area in outer Gresham, Hawk Haven offers quality boarding, and private or semi-private riding lessons for adults and children. We also offer quality one on one training for horses and riders.
Hawk Haven trainer, Angela Parker, offers English and Western lessons, and horse training. Classical Dressage lessons are available for all levels. In the past, Angela has ridden in clinics with Dressage masters such as Charles DeKunffy, and "Centered Riding" author and legend: Sally Swift. She has trained with Olympic dressage rider and trainer: Hilda Gurney. Riders will learn in a patient, positive, and supportive environment. Angela recognizes the talent in all breeds of horses and looks forward to working with all types. Angela has over forty years of horse experience, and has worked with warmblood breeds, iberian breeds, and thoroughbreds and many others. She has trained young horses for warmblood inspections.
Haul-ins lesson appointments are welcome we also have a nice schoolhorse available. We are approximately thirty minutes from the eastside of Portland.
